The internship investigates workflows for geospatial data harvesting, quality control and data integration. The intern will also work on an operational use case of MSF to create a user-friendly & cartographically pleasing web-app (ArcGIS Online) where users can interact with a DTM, image overlay, OpenStreetMap (OSM) basemap, and add either a coordinates table or KML points layer to visualize their own data. The main goal is to create a "template" app MSF can implement quickly and efficiently on a regular basis. In addition an FME workspace will be developed so that users can process common coordinate formats.
