EO-based tools for population monitoring and water exploration

Population tool: mapping and monitoring of refugee and IDP camps, camp density and camp population estimation. Water exploration tool: indicative geological structures and distance measurements for deriving specific information for supporting water exploration and provision. Within a Cooperation Agreement with Médecines sans Frontières, Section Austria (MSF-AT), the Centre for Geoinformatics provides tools and workflows which are provided upon request in case of emergency or humanitarian disaster
