Provision of validated methods for the analysis of ENP in food that can be implemented in existing routine food safety laboratories, which includes: 1. Development of rapid imaging and screening methods which give a fast result on the presence (yes/no) of nanoparticles in food 2. Development of methods for the reliable and unambiguous identification, characterisation and quantification of ENP from the food matrix Contribute to the elimination of uncertainty about the use of ENP in food applications and thus to the prosperous development of the European KBBE/food industries and the safety of the European consumer
