Description
This lecture is a crash course on the topic of Human-AI Relations, and is meant for everyone who is curious on what AI in general is and can do; there are no technical prerequisites for the audience. First, we will discuss what artificial intelligence is, what the different and important terms and concepts in relation to AI are, and some high-level functionalities of AI. We will take a look at how AI is used in general today and how we might use AI in the future, focusing on how AI can be used to complement human decision-making and creativity. By the end of the lecture, the audience will gain a nuanced vocabulary of AI in general, and a designerly understanding of what AI can do and how AI can support human activity.
