Personal profile

Research interests

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Digital and Analytical Sciences at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria.

My research focuses on the application of advanced Earth Observation (EO) data analytics, utilising both optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. With expertise in SAR data analysis, particularly in SAR polarimetry and differential interferometric SAR (DInSAR), I investigate landscape spatio-temporal dynamics as well as natural hazards and their impacts on societies and infrastructures.

I employ a range of methods, including digital image processing, geospatial data analysis, data mining, machine learning, and time-series EO data analysis, predominantly using open-source tools.

I am currently one of the research group leaders within the EXDIGIT: Excellence in Digital Sciences and Interdisciplinary Technologies, focusing on SAR big EO data analytics.
