Feasibility study on effects by detergents/additives on physico-chemical characterization of therapeutic proteins

    Project Details

State-of-the-art physicochemical characterization techniques for therapeutic proteins were tested for their applicability in presence of detergents at concentrations below of, equal to, and above from critical micellar concentration (CMC) of detergents. Consulting on detergents and additives suitable for use in biological therapeutics was provided.

A number of candidate detergents to be used as additives for better solubility of easily aggregating therapeutic proteins were investigated in termes of influence on physico-chemical characterization methods.
