The research project “Muslim life in Austria”, aims to explore the multi-faceted lives of Muslims in Austria and thus bring Islam into a framework of academic study, especially the expressions of Islam by Muslims in ways that conform to the standards of rigorous and unbiased analysis. The objective of the research is to examine conditions, manifestations and mechanisms of religious life, the construction of collective identities and cultures, the involvement in cultural, social, economic, and political spheres of life in contemporary Austria. It is aimed to study a wide range of aspects of everyday life.
