Nanoplatforms for Neuroscience

The NeuroNanotech EU MSCA Doctorate Network aims to provide a singular training and research environment for the qualification of young researchers in advanced nanotechnologies and nanomaterials to produce substantial progress in the field of neuroscience and neurology. This synergic training will provide the recruited researchers with the required tools for the development of ground-breaking neuro-nanotech-based applications to understand and treat neurodegenerative diseases more effectively (less invasive, more precise, and more efficient). We propose a doctoral training programme that combines “hands-on” research training in a variety of disciplines from nanoscience, material science and electronic engineering to neuroscience and neurology. The programme will also include an ample range of transferable skills from communication, career planning and ethics to intellectual property and business development and management. We aim to provide the researchers with an outstanding career development framework that will allow them to grow into versatile scientists prepared to succeed both in academia and health-care related industries.
