Project Details
Description
The goal of this project is to develop a better understanding of the impact of PN backbone chemistry on intercellular trafficking of AIMer therapeutic RNAs. This will be achieved via the following 3 aims:
Aim 1: Develop an advanced fractionation approach to address the 2 following points:
1. To which cellular compartments do AIMers traffic?
2. Where is AIMer-mediated editing occurring?
Aim 2: Validate/confirm fractionation data using fluorescence microscopy.
Aim 3: Identify intercellular and cell surface proteins which specifically interact with PN containing AIMers.
