Российско-австрийское культурное пространство как единый дискурс: содержание, типология, методический потенциал

Translated title of the contribution: RUSSIAN-AUSTRIAN CULTURAL SPACE AS A SINGLE DISCOURSE: CONTENT, TYPOLOGY AND METHODOLOGICAL POTENTIAL

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

Th is comparative article explores semantic signs that simultaneously belong to Russian and Austrian cultural space. With the aim of creating a common context of mutual understanding, this article reveals the formal content structure (thematic components) of discourse – understood as the structured textual (verbal and non-verbal) construct of cultural space (‘social fi eld’) – and the
concomitant process of social interaction. Furthermore, it identifi es those typological characteristics of discourse which can be used to analyse other models of analogous spaces. Th is article not only
develops a model for interpreting the ‘social fi eld’, it also provides an approach with which to increase motivation among heterogenous groups of students studying Russian language and culture(s), mainly outside of the country of the language being studied.
